When there’s a difficult military story that’s been twisted and bent into what might seem like a mystery, what film maker do you want telling you the story? Kathryn Bigelow? Michael Mann? Michael Moore? Ridley Scott? Hell no! You want Michael Bay to do it! And that’s just the guy we’re going to get on January 15 when his latest film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi hits theaters.
But before the New Year gets here, we’ve all been provided with this red-band trailer (“red band” means it’s NSFW and NSFW means “Not Safe For Work”) that shows a bunch of pretty unrecognizable actors looking tough and Americanny as well as John Krasinski who simply cannot look tough and is apparently once again rendered mute and steely eyed per his last role in Cameron Crowe’s Aloha. All kidding aside, I hope James Woods finally gets the Benghazi answers he’s been looking for.
