Did you really think Warner Brothers and author J.K. Rowling would simply leave Harry Potter movie money laying on the table? Did you? If you did, you’re a Wiggle Headed Naryfeather…or something. Of course they wouldn’t! That’s why that trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is up there. To whet your wand for more Potter action. Kind of.
See, the Harry Potter saga is over in terms of books and movies and it’s a very satisfying series. So smartly, WB and Rowling aren’t going back to that well (yet) with a prequel but rather, are making a movie out of a tie-in book of the same name. This trailer is just a teaser too, to give you a taste of the movie and it looks….o.k. Honestly, the whole thing reeks of a money grab ala the Peter Jackson The Hobbit movies but I guess come Thanksgiving, we’ll all be seeing if this idea works. The 7 million hits on that trailer after 48 hours certainly bodes well for the film.
