In August of 2012 filmmaker Charlie Kaufman ran a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign for his newest film, a weird stop-motion animation picture called Anomalisa. Kaufman wrote the script and Dan Harmon (of Community fame) executive produced, alongside others.
